In 2004, another great friend and mentor, Reg Enderby, made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I acquired Stables Entertainments, combining decades of industry knowledge and experience under one trusted name.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working alongside some of the biggest names in British music history. These experiences taught me what truly makes great entertainment — professionalism, reliability, and the ability to connect with any audience.
Today, Stables Entertainments represents a diverse roster of talented professional acts across Nottingham, the East Midlands and throughout the UK. With over four decades in the industry, we understand that every event is unique. Industry heritage — artists worked with: Gerry Marsden (Gerry and the Pacemakers), The Searchers, Brian Poole (The Tremeloes), The Swinging Blue Jeans.
- 1985 — Stables Entertainments established.
- 1993 — Darren Wright founded DW Promotions with mentorship from Tony Young, MD for Gerry Marsden.
- 2004 — Darren acquired Stables Entertainments from Reg Enderby.
- Today — a diverse roster of professional acts serving Nottingham, the East Midlands and UK-wide.
